On the afternoon of March 22, 2009, in Oakhurst, California,
Aaron Michael Telian married Jessica Quinn Slagg,
just over seven months after they first "met" on the Internet,
with him in California and her in New Zealand.
God's plans are so amazingly beyond our comprehension.
After weeks of warmth and sunshine, the morning of our wedding day greeted us with several inches of snow and more coming down. The previously-planned outdoor wedding was moved to the nearby indoor chapel. Thankfully, the sun came out by mid-morning and dried up the roads sufficiently and the day continued with a mix of sunshine, clouds and snow flurries. What had at first seemed a huge obstacle, God used for good as the snow definitely added to the fun and beauty of the wedding.
It was truly a wonder-filled wedding as we rejoiced in God's goodness and His perfect gifts.
"But as it is written: 'Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.'”

ReplyDeleteGood to know about this wedding. At some domestic wedding venues Chicago my best friend is also going to tie wedding knot. She will have a DIY garden themed ceremony and I want to help her with the decoration part. Do you have any decoration ideas?
